The Cell Cycle is the process the cell under goes to duplicate. There are four stages, G1, S, G2, and mitosis. G1, S, G2 are all part of what is called interphase which just means that the cell is growing and has not prepared to split yet. G1 and G2 stand for growth and development. The S phase is where the DNA replicate. After the cell is ready the cell leaves interphase and starts mitosis. Mitosis is the cell actually dividing in to two cells. Mitosis has four stages which the powerpoint will explain.
