DNA is stored tightly together in the nucleus, and doesn't move. It can be unzipped but instead of moving around the cell, the tRNA makes a copy, then the mRNA moves it to the ribosomes or wherever it is needed. the amino acids correspond to a certain gene or part of the codon.
